Designed
for empty-nesters with four grown children and numerous grandchildren,

quarters for their frequent family reunions. The plan includes a library,
a living room with a billiard table, a lower-level recreation room and art
gallery, three bedrooms and baths, three decks and a terrace facing the
ocean. A workshop, darkroom, and observation tower complete the

Living
spaces are oriented toward the spectacular rocky seashore that includes tide pools
and views up the coast. The wood-frame structure is clad with redwood
siding and a standing-seam copper roof. European windows provide durable
and flexible ventilation for the coastal climate, Interior finishes are
natural stone and oak with African oak doors and trim. Space heating is by
central gas-fired boiler with baseboard convector distribution.
